Apparently in less than pristine condition, but the aircraft flew from the adjacent Strip a day or two later. Still in the basic colours of previous Canadian owner Direquair with elements of the titles remaining visible. First flew as CF-JZW in 1957. Became N999R in 1958. Returned to Canada from North Africa as CF-ZVQ in 1971. Joined Direquair Inc, of Chibougamau, Quebec in 1975. Ferried to Alaska as N5359J in 1984. Reregistered as N900L with Newhalen Lodge, Anchorage, in October 1997.

In open storage at the Greybull base of Hawkins & Powers Aviation, still carrying the basic colours of the RCAF where it was in active service from 1953 until 1965. Tanked by H & P and certificated as N3559 "137" in 1975 with roof mounted jet pack added. Following the structural failure and mid-air breakup of one of their C-119Gs during a fire attack in California in 1987, H&P grounded their entire fleet of the type. Traded to the USAF Museum in 1991 and put on display, in period USAF configuration and colours, at the AMC Museum at Dover AFB, Delaware.

J-1758 was registered G-BLSD in 1985 and re-registered N203DM. To my knowledge the aircraft never left the UK. In 1988 G-BLSD was re-introduced, bus as can be soon in this picture N203DM was not removed. In 1996 G-BLSD was de-registered. The aircraft ended up on a pole at Grove Technology Park, Wantage (UK) in fake British markings, but was blown off and severely damaged in 2022. Photo by Rinze de Vries

Delivered to Pacific Western Airlines in December 1976, this 737 was leased to Markair in May 1984. Pictured with Canadian North (a subsidiary of Canadian Airlines), the aircraft was leased (and later sold) to Air Norterra in 2002. Seen over Lake Spenard, heading towards Lake Hood on a Ketchum Air Service flight. Delivered new to the Union of Burma Air Force in 1961 as UB658. Served with Ketchum for a little over three years from the spring of 1990. Destroyed in an accident at Nikabuna Lake, Alaska, in August 1993. Engine power was lost in the climb out due to fuel starvation. A forced landing was made on a small pond, where the aircraft overran the water into woodland and caught fire.
