Built by Fokker (line number L-175) as F-16A(R) and delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht on 4 Oct'84. It received FMS serial 80-3647. The recce F-16 was assigned to the dedicated Dutch recce squadron 306sq at Volkel. Late '99 it was modified and contined as F-16AM and was assigned to 311sq up to Sep'07. J-647 was transferred to the Dutch F-16 training squadron in the States (again 306sq, but now with a training task). In Sep'10 it was moved to the 148th FS at Tucson. It returned to Volkel for storage in Sep'11. It flew again in Jan'14, moved to Woensdrecht as an instructional airframe.

A non-standard 311 badge is furnished on the tail of the F-16A. This Fokker built Fightning Falcon (FMS serial 80-3618, with Fokker construction number L-101) was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht with on 20 June 1982. It only lived for some ten years as the F-16A experienced engine problems during a low-level training sortie some 120 miles south of Goose Bay, Newfoundland (Canada) on 26 May 1992. It also has a rare pinguin zap on its tail section, thanks to the RAF Laarburch x-servicing.
