Note the unusual way the registration is painted on the aircraft with a hyphen after the N. An Air Bridge Vickers Merchantman freighter is parked to the left. Delivered new to Lufthansa on 03 Feb 1965 as D-ABIL. Leased to Condor on 03 Jan 1969. To Jet Aviation as N2703J on 15 Jan 1982. Reregistered to N727UD on 17 Feb 1982. To the Congo in Jul 1984 as 9Q-CBG with Scibe Airlift. Damaged 23 Sep 1991 and flown to Tel Aviv for repairs. Back in service Jan 1992. Noted broken up at Kinshasa-N'Djili, Zaire in Sep 1997.

Ex T5370. Registered 14 November 1946. Depicted on the hard-standing at Castle Water in readiness to be put onto floats. While operating as a floatplane, it was written-off eight days later, when it crashed in the sea 1/4-mile offshore from Camber, near Rye, East Sussex on 27 August 1972, with both occupants being rescued from the sea with only minor injuries . It was cancelled 30 November 1982 as Destroyed.

This was one of several FWP-149s operated for flight training in Switzerland. It had started life as 9083 of the Luftwaffe and was later sold in the USA as N149FF, still wearing its Swiss colours.

Landing at Wildenrath. We traveled there by train, a 4 hour journey I remember, followed by a 20 km bicycle ride... This bird is with the 19 Sqn.

32 TFS was the only USAFE unit based in The Netherlands in the eighties. The Eagles left in the early nineties, no more USAF units are present in Holland these days. 32 TFS was also the only 'Royal" USAF unit, the crowned wolfhound (by Walt Disney) is on the air intake.

Built in 1948, this Navion was still operational in the 21st Century.
