Sadly this aircraft was badly damaged when it crashed in the sea off Silver Sands, East Sussex, on 27th August 1982 and was cancelled from the British register as destroyed on 30th November 1982.

Ex T5370. Registered 14 November 1946. Here depicted 'applying the brakes' (i.e. stick fully back) after landing on the Scotney Court water aerodrome. Sadly, this floatplane was written -off six days later, when it crashed in the sea 1/4-mile offshore from Camber, near Rye, East Sussex, with both occupants being rescued from the sea with only minor injuries. Cancelled 30 November 1982 as Destroyed.

While operating as a floatplane, it was written-off eight days later, when it crashed in the sea 1/4-mile offshore from Camber, near Rye, East Sussex on 27 August 1972, with both occupants being rescued from the sea with only minor injuries . It was cancelled 30 November 1982 as Destroyed.
