G-AREK was wet-leased from BAF by Pauling Middle East Company LLC from June 1974 to February 1976. It then entered a period of storage at Southend, as seen here. It was brought back to flying status for UNI Air in June 1977, flying to Toulouse on 6th July 1977 and receiving French registration F-BYCL the same day. Proposed contracts did not materialise and the aircraft remained stored at Toulouse for 2 years until purchased for use by Falcon Airways becoming N83FA on 4th August 1979. Sadly, it crashed into a shopping mall on take-off from Griffin, GA on 4th April 1997.

For sale at the time of the photo and sold the following month to Cromwell Motors of Southend, later appearing in the BAF-inspired colours of Air Lynx. To SU-AZQ in 1978. Scrapped at Embaba, Egypt.

This Bristol 175 Britannia was first flown at Filton on Apr. 29, 1958 and delivered BOAC as G-AOVM in June 1958. Retired in Mar. 1964. To British Eagle Int'l Airlines and converted into a 312F freighter in 1967. To Air Spain in Mar. 1969 as EC-BSY. To UK MoD in Nov. 1971 for use by the Aircraft and Armament Experimental Establishment as XX367. Retired in 1984, to Katale Aero Transport as 9Q-CHY then to BCF. World's last operational Britannia when retired in July 1991(?) Canadian Pacific A/L flew six Britannias from YVR in 1958-1966. Was very very rare to see a Britannia at YVR after 1966!

Delivered new as YV-C-VIB 9th May 1969 and re-registered YV-126C 1st Nov 1975. Sold to Inernational Air Lease as N4805J 29th March 1984

Delivered new 21st May 1973 and to LV-VFM 6th Dec 1992, restored to EC-CBM March 1993 and retired LEMD (Madrid) Oct 1998

This 1968 built aircraft later became N971EC, N971EQ and N200AQ which was cancelled in May 2015. Scanned from a slide.

Delivered to BEA in 1968 this Trident 2 roars away from 10R. It remained in service until 1982 and later became a fire trainer at Durham Tees-Valley. Scanned from a slide.
