Delivered on 29.04.1972 and initially christened "Castilla", it became the first Boeing 727 in the Spanish register. It was written from use on February 1995 and broken up eight moths later. In this photo is carrying "Xacobeo" markings.
Initially delivered to Iberia as EC-CBE in 1973 and leased to Viasa from 1992 till 1997 as YV-129C. In 1998 was returned with this Spanish registration but it never went back to service. Notice the Vatican coat of Arms near the door, meaning that this 727 was used to carry the Pope. Broken up in 2001.
This was the second 727 for Iberia, but she took the temporary registration EC-328 after working in the Americas for VIASA as LV-VLJ. Two weeks after this photo was taken she came back to the standard register.
