This Corsair served with the Argentine Nayy from 1957 until 1964 when it was damaged during landing. It then was first stored and later preserved at the Argentine Naval Museum at Tigre, near Buenos Aires from 1972 until 1991. Since 2000, it is flying in European skies, currently in its original Korean war colourscheme when operated by VMF(N)-513.

Built for the US Navy as 97359. Sold as N5213V in 1959. Sale to the Honduras Air Force cancelled. Stored at Phoenix-Moseley Field, AZ then moved to Tucson, AZ by 1973. Restored to airworthy condition as N97353 in 1976. Reregistered as N240CA in 1980. Operated in the UK from 1988 to then returned to the USA in 1992. Reregistered as N240CF in 2010.

VF-10 Grim Reapers artwork on cowling. Registered in Australia since 2011 with no previous civil identity. It has been a museum exhibit for 40 years and a restoration project for a further 40. Restoration completed in Mareeba, Queensland, and VH-NQW made its first flight since the mid 1940s in February 2022.

"Angel of Okinawa" inside the hangar at Fantasy of Flight. Built in 1945, the aircraft was delivered to the USN as BuNo 97286. The F4U-4 was the last Corsair variant to see service in World War II. The armament was similar to the F4U-1D. It was powered by a 2,100 hp P&W R-2800-18W driving a thirteen-foot Hamilton Standard four blade propeller and featured a chin air scoop. This variant had a faster rate of climb and improved service ceiling. Corsairs earned their well-deserved sobriquet in the assault on Okinawa and defending USN's Fifth Fleet against tokko attacks by IJN's Fifth Air Fleet from Kyushu.

F4U-1 Bu.02270, is one of the world's oldest surviving WW2 F4U Corsairs in existent. It is only one of few remaining airframes which has the early birdcage canopy design. FLown by the USMC in the South Pacific theatre by pilots from VMF-321. On May 5th, 1944 the F4U ended up ditching in a lagoon. Here it lay until recovered in the early 2000's and 25 years later is on the home straight to completion.

Delivered to the US Navy as 17799 in 1942. Withdrawn from use in 1945. To the MGM studios for use as a film prop. Never used and stored. To the Planes of Fame Air Museum in 1970. Registered as N83782 in 1977 and restored to airworthy condition. Current on the register with them in 2025.

This former USMC Corsair first went to the US civil registry as N5219V in 1959. It was intended for the Honduras AF but was never delivered. After a period of storage in Blythe, CA, the aircraft was transferred to Tucson, AZ, where it was dismantled in 1973 and prepared for shipment to the Korean Aviation/War Museum in Seoul in 1974. Later, it was moved to its current location at Sacheon.
