A very welcome visitor to Brisbane on the way to New Zealand where it would be registered ZK-SKY. Unfortunately the great plans for this aircraft failed to eventuate and it eventually returned to the U.K. for many years before being scrapped at Southend in March 1991.

It is often mentioned that Sud-Est used the Comet nose when designing the SE.210. Indeed there was co-operation leading to the noses of the first two prototypes being direct copies and those thereafter very similar including cockpit layout
