Delivered to CP Air as C-GCPD then leased to Varig as PP-VMP in 1979. Returned to CP Air as C-GCPD in 1980 who merged into Canadian Airlines International in 1987. Returned to the lessor as N541SA and converted to a freighter for World Airways in 2000. To DAS Air Cargo as 5X-DAS in 2005. Back to the lessor as N65SS in 2006 then back to DAS Air Cargo as 5X-DAS and withdrawn from use at Jakarta-CGK in 2007. Still there in 2015. Scrapped.

Delivered new to CP Air 19th July 1979 and leased for the fisrt year to Varig as PP-VMP, returning 14th June 1980. Re-branded as Canadian Airlines Apr 1987 and returned to lessor as N541SA 17th Apr 2000

The "Empress of Sydney" was CP Air's second DC-10. It was delivered July 19, 1979 in full Varig colors for a lease the same month after acceptance checks were finished. PP-VMG with Varig, the aircraft returned June 1980 painted in CP Air orange.

CP Air's second DC-10 was originally christened "Empress of Sydney". By the time it was painted up to promote Vancouver's 1986 World Fair (Expo 86), the DC-10s were named after Canadian Provinces. Last flying freight with DAS Air Cargo, it was withdrawn from use in late 2007.

C-GCPD was delivered to CP Air in July 1979 but soon after was leased to VARIG. It returned to CP Air in mid-1980.
