Canadian Architect Edward D Russell acquired four warbirds in the early 2000s which he had professional pilots fly from Niagara South Airport, Ontario between 2003-2017. This included Supermarine Spitfire LF9C, CF-FLC, and Harvard IIB, C-GFLR, acquired from the UK in May 2003. And Hawker Hurricane CF-DNL (RCAF 5481) and Messerschmitt BF-109E, CF-EML, from the Museum of Flying in the US in 2005. Russell bought the warbirds after a jury in Florida in 2000 ordered the Walt Disney Co. to pay Russell and his partner at least C$240 million in damages for stealing their ideas for a sports complex.

A new colourscheme has been painted on this nice Spitfire for the 2009 airshow season.

A full-size model displayed at the JBT AeroTech site since 6 December 2013. It is one of a number of Spitfire IX replicas painted as EN398/JE-J, others being at Coningsby, Salisbury, Sleap, and Taunton.

BBMF - Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, with the badge of 71 "Eagle" Squadron for the occasion of the USAF's 50th Anniversary.

Gate guard at the now closed RAF Uxbridge. Used in the Battle of Britain movie in 1968. Subsequently sold off and returned to the air in July 1991 as G-XVIA. Then sold to the USA and registered as N382RW in 1995. Destroyed in 1998 when it flew into a canyon wall in cloud. Bits were then shipped back to the UK and rebuilt as a high back Mk IX with a RR Merlin instead of a Packard Merlin, rounded wingtips instead of clipped and a smaller rounded rudder. Now flying as G-PBIX in USAAF colours coded WZ-RR.

Ex NH238 (RAF). Operated with the Netherlands AF as H-103 and H-60 between 1947 and 1953 and the Belgian AF as SM-36 between 1953 and 1956. One of several acquired by COGEA Nouvelle for use as target tugs and registered to them as OO-ARE in 1956. Sold in the UK in June 1961 but damaged at Elstree and soon afterwards and moved to the USA in 1970 becoming N238V. Bought by Doug Arnold in 1979 and returned to the UK and made its first flight as G-MKIX/NH238 D-A in 1984. Registration cancelled in 2002 and believed stored.

Contributing a fly past over Old Warden at a Shuttleworth Trust event

EX SM845 with the RAF. Became SE-BIN in May 2009. Crashed at Tynset in Norway, unfortunately the pilot did not survive. Became G-BUOS again around November 2012.
