About to touch down on Runway 30 for an overnight stop at Prestwick. Arrived in the company of Spitfire Mk XVIe G-PBIX after their "Spitfire Formation" had conducted some low level sightseeing in England's Lake District. Displays the markings of 312 (Czech) Squadron RAF which it carried on D-Day 1944 as MK912. Most recently restored at Biggin Hill, flying again in 2024 after the repair of serious accident damage sustained in a 2015 forced landing.

Taxying for departure to Oban and then Kirkwall and return in company with Mk XVIe G-PBIX.

Arriving in company with another Spitfire (G-PBIX) for a few day's visit and some scenic low level flying.

Post restoration for MK912, flew few days later at Biggin Hill.

Delivered to the RAF as MK912 March 1944. To R.Neth.A.F. July 1946 as H-119, later H-59. To Belgian A.F June 1952 as SM-29, to the BAF Technical School at Saffraanberg August 1955, where it was mounted on a plinth in the colours of 350 Sqn. To the Musée Royal de l'Armée in Brussels 1988. To UK as G-BRRA 1989, to Canada as CF-FLC but restored as G-BRRA June 2011. Badly damaged when it lost power taking off from Biggin Hill and made a forced landing on the airfield 1st August 2015. Later undergoing restoration.

Canadian Architect Edward D Russell acquired four warbirds in the early 2000s which he had professional pilots fly from Niagara South Airport, Ontario between 2003-2017. This included Supermarine Spitfire LF9C, CF-FLC, and Harvard IIB, C-GFLR, acquired from the UK in May 2003. And Hawker Hurricane CF-DNL (RCAF 5481) and Messerschmitt BF-109E, CF-EML, from the Museum of Flying in the US in 2005. Russell bought the warbirds after a jury in Florida in 2000 ordered the Walt Disney Co. to pay Russell and his partner at least C$240 million in damages for stealing their ideas for a sports complex.
