Ex 42-92423 (USAAF), FZ662 (RAF), G-AGZC (BOAC), VT-CPN (ntu) and AP-AAN (Orient Airways). Returned to the UK with BOAC in 1947 and joined BEA from September 1949 until sold in in Mali as TZ-ABA in March 1961.

Very small Catalina Flying Boats titles just above the registration.

Withdrawn from use and stored when photographed, was sold to Preferred Air Parts of Kidron, Ohio, in 2017 but is no longer registered so is presumed to have been dismantled for parts.

Douglas DC-3, CF-CRX joined the fleet of Harrison Airways in Oct. 1974 after a 28-year career with Canadian Pacific Airlines since July 1946. The DC-3 was repainted in this blue and white colour scheme in 1974-1975 and named "Tweedsmuir". Harrison flew DC-3s to Burns Lake & Dease Lake in support of a 663 km railway project linking Fort St. James to Dease Lake, but the railway was cancelled in April 1977 which hurt business. Futura Airlines bought the charter licences in 1979. The Harrison hangar was first built to flight test wartime RCAF aircraft overhauled by Boeing and Canadian Pacific.

Built as 44-76229 and tranfererd to the RAF as KN307 in 1945. To the French AF as 476229 in 1961 and French Navy as 729 in 1971. Bought in 1985 by Transvalair as F-GDXP and to Aces High as G-BVRB in July 1994. After several months at Shoreham the aircraft became F-GNFD and spent time at Dinard before becoming N4332E with Euroworld of Miami in 1998. She never made it to the U.S. and spent the next seven years stored at Le Touquet before being dismantled in October 2006 and roaded for display at the Airborne Museum in Sainte-Mère-Église, Normandy where the fuselage is now displayed as '315510'.

The fake serial of this C-47 is derived from its Navy serial, 50761, as this aircraft originaly was delivered as a R4D-6 to the US Navy in October 1944. It was later transferred to the US Army and redesignated as an EC-47J. After a short civil career with the US Department of Agriculture and the US Forest Service the aircraft ended up on display near Gate 20 at Tinker AFB in 1984. It became part of the Tinker AFB Heritage Air Park in October 1988, which itself was renamed the Charles B Hall Air Park in 2002.

Ex N6K, N65266, USAAF 42-24133 (C-47A). Photographed a week or so after its arrival at Exeter from Zurich. Registered as G-BMCR on 2 August 1985 and cancelled a few days later on 12 August 1985 when it was restored as N88YA. It later became HB-ISC, then N431HM on 11 August 2011, operated by Classic Air in Swissair markings.

Imported in 1975 by Ontario Central Airlines (Photo 303415) and here with Nunasi Northland, about to change operators to Air Manitoba. On 5 May 1996, while with Aviation Boreal, it was wrecked when the gear collapsed landing on the ice of Kenty Lake/QC. (This was taken on a roll of color negative slide film - basically 35 mm movie film - which time has not been kind to. That is why I uploaded as grey scale.)

Ex EI-BKJ (ntu), N15751, G-AMPY, TF-FIO, G-AMPY, JY-ABE, G-AMPY, KK116, 43-49308. Owned at the time by Field Aviation, and seen here undergoing maintenance at Exeter. Owned by Air Atlantique from 15 February 1982 and flown in RAF colours as KK116. Registration cancelled on 19 October 2022 as transferred to the USA, delivered on 17 May 2022.

Ex KN487, 44-76634. Registration cancelled on 16 October 2003 as permanently withdrawn from use, and preserved at Aviodrome, Lelystad, Netherlands, representing a KLM DC-3 PH-ALR.

Sold as N19683 in 1959 and then on-sold to Indonesia as PK-JDD the next year.
