The last Argus built by Canadair is pictured out back of the National Aeronautical Collection hangar (now Canada Aviation and Space Museum). The last operational Argus flight was flown November 10, 1980 and the type retired. This aircraft made the last flight of any Argus on February 10, 1982 when it was delivered to the Museum for display. Stored outside until moved into the museum's new hangar in 2005, it has undergone some restoration to repair the damage done by weather. The aircraft is back outside, partially cocooned at the time of uploading.

Arriving in Canada in 1973 with Associated Helicopters, this Bell was registered to Vancouver Island Helicopters January 21,1985. While fire fighting on contract in Washington State during September 1988, the helicopter refueled at remote helipad near Ential, WA but did not arrive at the work site. Wreckage was found on a steep mountain slope showing evidence of an in-flight main rotor mast fracture and aircraft break-up;

Former SE-DBO and OY-KIC was with SAS Scandinavian Airlines System 1969 - 95, save for a one year least to Nordic East Airlink in 1991. It was the last of the ten DC-9-21s (short body of the DC-9-10 and with longer slatted wings of the DC-9-32) built. Leased by Spirit Airlines, Valujet and Allegiant Air registered N127NK until stored at Victorville, CA in January 2003. Saved from the scrapper in 2003, the aircraft was made flyable again and certified for skydiving. It was put into service by Skydive Perris in 2006, but retired in 2013. It's pictured slowly being restored to flight.

Delivered to the Tanzanian Air Force in May 1966, this Otter actually went to Camp Borden, ON where the RCAF used it to train Tanzanian ground personnel. Crated for shipment to Tanzania by December 1969, the aircraft was instead returned to DHC for disposal. Sold to Athabaska Airways in 1971, the Otter is pictured shortly after being registered to Contact Charters on April 3, 1992. To Deh Cho Air in 1994, the aircraft crashed September 26, 1997 landing on a river. The rebuild in 1999 included a Valsan Turbine conversion, it is operated by K2 Aviation in Alaska at the time of uploading.

The B-1A program was cancelled by President Jimmy Carter and ended flight testing in April 1981. Re-instated by Ronald Regan, the four B-1A aircraft had some systems modified for testing the redesigned B-1B. This is the second aircraft pictured between test flights. It crashed during testing on Aug 29, 1984 when the bomber lost control during a configuration change (center of gravity was well aft of the limit due to fuel transfer error).
