Built for Piedmont as N701U in 1966 but retained by Fairchild Hiller as N2735R for FH-227B & D development and certification. Converted to a freighter for Nordair as CF-NAK in 1972, The aircraft is pictured after the multiple mergers of Pacific Western and Canadian Pacific Airlines (who had recently acquired Eastern Provincian Airlines and Nordair). The registration was cancelled in January 1988 after delivery of the aircraft to Malmö Aviation as SE-KBR. It was last with Iona National Airways as EI-CAZ operating for DHL from 1991-3.
