While Golden West Airlines leased an early SD-330 from Short Brothers for a couple of months in 1977, the airline owned and operated four others. These were acquired by the US Army after the carrier ceased flying and the aircraft were stored at Moline IL in 1984. N331GW was delivered in August 1977 to become C-23 Sherpa 85-25343 with the Army. Retired in 1992, it was stored at Naval Air Engineering Station (NAES) Lakehurst, New Jersey. The aircraft moved to the Millville Army Airfield Museum circa 1998.

This Widgeon rolled off the production line in January 1947, but was stored until delivery in March 1948 to private owner. Registered N86641, the aircraft crashed landing on Lake St Clair in Michigan on May 19, 1953. Salvaged after it sank, the aircraft took to the air again in the mid 80s and was registered N86649 in 1987. The aircraft was modified to a Super Widgeon in 1988.

Although this 737 was delivered to Maersk Air December 14, 1979, it has spent the most time in Canada. After a short lease to Egyptian carrier Arabia in 1981, the aircraft was leased by Quebecair (August 1982 - September 1983) before settling down permanently beginning with CP Air in October 1985. US Air Force C-121 48-613 participated in the Berlin Airlift before conversion to a VC-121A. It was General Douglas MacArthur's VIP transport christened "Bataan" in the 50s. Retired in 1966, it was transferred to NASA as N422NA to support of Apollo space program. To the US Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker, AL in 1970 and on to the Planes of Fame Museum in 1993. The aircraft was restored during 2016 - 23.

Powered by a Rotec R2800 radial engine, the aircraft is to be re-introduce by former distributor Golden Age Aeroworks. In the fleet 1944 - 50, it became N4851V with Babb Co and later Bethlehem Steel. Converted to a Dallaero Lodestar in the late 50s to early 60s, it was registered N1940S in 1964. The aircraft is now part of the Mid America Flight Museum collection.
