Delivered to the USAAF as 44-76607 then to the RAF as KN465 in 1945. To Swissair as HB-IRM in 1946, the Royal Moroccan Air Force as 76607/CNALB in 1961, Euroworld California as N54605 in 1978 and to Visionair in 1980. Damaged beyond repair by a storm at Reykjavik in 1980.

Delivered to the USAAF as 44-76603 then to the RAF as KN462 in 1945. Registered as G-AMPT in 1952, VP-YKM in 1953, 7Q-YKM in 1966, ZS-EYO in 1970, D-CDST in 1987, F-GILV in 1990 then N48ME, 3C-JJN and T9-ABC in 1995. Stored at Luqa, Malta. To the Malta Aviation Museum in 2002.

Now part of the RAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre. Entered service with the RAAF in 1945 and the Heritage website says that it was the longest serving operational aircraft in RAAF spanning over 53 years.

Delivered to the USAAF as 44-76547 then to the RAAF as A65-86 in 1945. Preserved at Nowra from 1999. Returned to airworthy condition and registered as VH-NVD in 2000. Cancelled in 2019 as withdrawn from use.

Taxiing out for Gillam's gravel runway, this Dakota started as a lend lease aircraft for the Royal Air Force. Built as 44-76481 and delivered as KN392, it was struck off strenght by the RAF in 1950 and transferred to the Royal Canadian Air Force. It was re-serialed 12917 in 1970 only to be sold and overhauled in 1971. Northward Aviation and Gander Aviation operated CF-BKX before Lambair added it to their fleet. (1976 - 1980). While with Ontario Central Airlines, the aircraft was written off after an engine failed on take-off and it descended into trees at Shamathawa, MB on February 15, 1983.

This poor old C-47 is seen here missing a few critical flying parts. Rumour going around that it was to face the axe but has since been saved at the last minute for a static display at a yet to be announced museum.

Previously USAAF serial number 43-49866 and RAAF serial A65-69 of the RAAF Butterworth station flight. Behind the flagpole is a the plaque that Commemorates stationing of the RAF at Gatow 1945-1994 and the British Airmen and soldiers that were committed to the Berlin Airlift 1948-1949. Given an RAF serial of ZD215 for delivery on 18th June 1980 to Gatow as only British, US, and French serialed aircraft were allowed safe passage through the Berlin air corridors up to 1989. Flown Sqn Ldr Al Culloway RAF and AV Marshall David Evans a veteran of the Berlin Airlift.

The only RAAF Dakota to wear this livery which it shared with an RAF Dakota KJ881 based at Woomera. Livery is all white airframe, Oxford blue stripe and dayglo panels on the nose, tail and wing tips. Reverted to standard silver finish. 2 Air Trials Unit operated in support of the Weapons Research Establishment at Woomera.

A65-124 was the last Dakota delivered to the RAAF. It has been preserved at the Air Force Association Museum, Bull Creek, Western Australia.
