Seen as Sywell a 1943 Castle Bromwich built Spitfire LF.IXe MH415. On the UK register as G-AVDJ. Owned by Air Leasing Ltd. Operational during WWII with 129, 222 & 126 Sqns. After the war with the Dutch as H-108 and H-65 then Belgium as SM-40. Later Belgian civil register as a target Tug OO-ARD. Has stared in some movies including The Longest Day and the Battle of Britain. Moved to the USA in 1969 and was registered N415MH and painted into 222 Squadron markings as ZD-E. Into storage in 1973 Purchased in 2014. Shipped to Scone, Australia for long rebuild back to flying condition. To the UK 2020.

Built in 1942/3 with USAAF serial 41-33908. Allocated RAF serial EX935 but there is no record of it receiving this serial. Shipped straight to South Africa in Dec 1943 where it received the serial 7504 with the South African Air Force. Sold to the Portuguese Air Force in Oct 1969 as 1508. It came onto the UK civil register on 28 Mar 1979 as G-BGOR. Now repainted carrying its original USAAF serial. It probably never wore it as it went straight to the South African Air Force.

A new arrival for display at the Sywell Aviation Museum. First flight 17 Apr 1969 as G-AWVK. Registered N1035S for Cal-States Airlines on 28 May 1969 but not taken up. WFU at Biggin Hill Jul 1972. To Decca Navigator Co 22 Feb 1974 later Racal-Decca. To G-RAVL 02 Dec 1986. To Cranfield Institute of Technology Jul 1990. WFU in the late 90's and used as a ground trainer. Registration cancelled 30 Jan 2001. Donated to the Sywell Aviation Museum for display and use as a classroom arriving on 23 Mar 2021.

On lease to LOT Polish Airlines. In the background is the Olympic Airways terminal complete with a 747, 727's and A300's. Delivered to the Soviet Government on 07 Sep 1976 as an Il-62TS and operated in Aeroflot colours with special communications equipment installed. First noted at BRU on 05 Oct 1976 carrying Leonid Brezhnev. Converted back to a standard Il-62 for Aeroflot use on 26 Mar 1980. Leased to LOT 07 Apr 1980. Returned to Aeroflot on 11 Oct 1980. SOC on 02 Mar 1993 and cancelled the same day. Last noted at ULV Sep 1992 to Jun 1994 as a ground trainer.
