Initially a DC-6B CF-CUO with CP Air this aircraft, like so many others, was later converted to (F). It was damaged beyond repair landing at Villavicencio, Colombia in February, 1994 as HK-3847X. Other registrations carried were F-BHMR, TU-TCK, HP-936, N2890M, and N94BL.
This Mad Dog was originally delivered as N9806F to TranStar in December 1986 before going to Continental the following year as (firstly N936MC then) N98876. It went to Surinam as PZ-TCL in February 2003 but was retired and stored at MIA in May 2009 before being scrapped.
