Ex USAF 51-11698, became N7499C in Oct 1957 and reregistered to N888E a month later. This Beech was operated by Alaska Aeronautical Industries from 1961 until 1969 and still carries their titles, albeit very faded. It was later acquired by the Upper Valley Aviation Group and restoration was attempted at Big Lake, AK. Work on it had been halted by early 2002 and the aircraft was abandoned as seen here. By 2017 it was still at Big Lake, in much the same condition.

This aircraft was part of a group of aircraft that were remanufactured AT-7 and AT-11 aircraft. It was a rebuild of AT-11 42-37174. Dropped from USAF inventory Apr 1958. To civil registry as N7950C with Air America. Donated to USMC Base at Quantico, VA Oct 14, 1975.

Remanufactured in 1951 from wartime C-45 and given new c/n and USAF serial 51-11467. Later sold for civil use.

Converted from AT-11 bombardier trainer by Beech in 1953. Acquired by CIA airline Air America in 1960, registered N7950C and operated across SE Asia till 1975, hauling supplies and refugees to remote locations. After several accidents during this period, including an in-flight collision, it was used temporarily for spare parts in Bangkok but was finally assigned to Tainan, Taiwan. Restored at Dover but on long-term loan from USMC Museum at Quantico, VA
