This 134 was originally intended for Interflug as DDR-SDS but went instead to the East German AF as '184' and then becoming '1111' (11+11) upon German unification. The plane joimned Aeroflot in July 1993 and pictured taxying out for departure. From June 2008 it flew with Aeroflot-Don, but this was short lived and it was offered for sale. It started flying for RusAir around July 2009 and then Kosmos from july 2010. The plane was last noted in Novosibirsk (OVB) in September 2011 and the registration was cancelled the following month.

It was next placed with European Airlines as SE-DSF in June 1995 but only for ten days and it then went to Sobelair. It left the Sobelair fleet in April 1996, going next to Pan Am as N860PA from August 1996 for one year. In October 1999 it was converted to a freighter and then joined Schreiner Airways (PH-SFL), Air Contractors (EI-SAF) and EAT (OO-DIC0, all operating for DHL. This lovely old prop was delivered to United in November 1952 as N73117 as a Cv-340. It went on to fly with some classic names in American aviation including Frontier (during which it was converted to a CV-580), Aspen, Golden Gate and Sierra Pacific before storage at Tucson (TUS) in February 1988. During this time it was converted to a frighter and started with EAT/DHL in April 1989, going on in July 1995 to Swiftair as (EC-943) EC-GDY. It was bought by Skyhaul in June 2005 and ferried to George (GRJ), South Africa as ZS-SKG where it was scrapped for spares.

It is pictured taxying to its assigned gate after arriving from Sheremetyeve (SVO). It was withdrawn three months later and stored at the Voronezh factory before joining Orient Avia in May 1996, although this was short-lived as the airline went backrupt.
