Back at home base since I last photographed it at Broken Hill, this 1977 Chieftain was originally registered in the USA as N63735. In 1986 it came to Australia and seems to have been originally registered VH-AFP(3), before becoming VH-MBP and then VH-OZP in 'the Aus-Air block'. Aus-Air was a Moorabbin-based RPT operator that ran mostly Chieftains and also a Bandit, at least when I used to deal with their flight plans!

Exodus: one rolling, one lining up and one at the holding point the day after the Narromine Airshow. Only a few aircraft remain but you can clearly see where, the day before, the parking area was chock-a-block with visiting aircraft. Among the stayers are HARS C-47 VH-EAF and two RAAF PC-9s.
