A replica of the famous aircraft built by Louis Blériot during the pioneer era of aviation. It was used to make the first flight across the Channel on July 25, 1909. The XI remained in production in various variants until the outbreak of WWI. 2 original frames were restored (in the UK and USA), which are believed to be the world's oldest flyable aircraft.

The Thulin A was a Swedish licence built Blériot XI. This was one of the very first aircraft to serve with the Swedish Navy, as there was no air force at the time and the army was not interested in aircraft yet.

This Blériot arrived in Australia in April 1914 with French stunt pilot Maurice Guillaux. He used it for display flights and flew the first airmail from Melbourne to Sydney in July 1914. Because of the war he had to return to France but the aircraft stayed in Australia. In 1916 it was sold ro Robert Graham Carey of Ballarat, Victoria who flew it for his flying school and on exhibition flights. By the end of 1917 it was stored, until sold in 1920 to KJ Claffey. In 1939 it was bought by the Dept of Civil Aviation. In 1947 it was restored by MA Leech, the head teacher and his trainees at the Aircraft Construction Class of the Sydney Technical College. Later it was given additional facelifts until displayed in the Powerhouse Museum.

This very nice replica was constructed by Amicale Jean-Baptiste Salis in the 1980s, and was registered to them on 31 May 1990 as F-AZPG. The aircraft is powered by an original period 80 hp Le Rhône 7B engine.

The aircraft is powered by an original period 80 hp Le Rhône 7B engine. The titles carried on the wings and tailplane are what French aviator Adolphe Pégoud used on his aircraft in the 1910s. He was a famous pilot who in World War I became the world's first fighter ace.

This aircraft was built in the Amicale Jean-Baptiste Salis workshops in 1991 from original plans, work the took about 2,800 hours. It carries the markings of Adolphe Pegoud who was famous for being the first pilot to loop an aircraft.

Bleriot XI built in Cleveland in 1911 by Ernest Hall, flying until 1917. Restored in the 1950s and flown as N9781. Now preserved in the New England Museum.
