Registered as N598GA then N422U in 1968, N462B in 1969, N462BA in 1974 and N833GA then N210FP and N660A in 1975. Broken up for parts in 1987.

Registered as N971GA in 1970, N201WL in 1971, N10EC and N29CA then N400EP in 1981. Last flight to St.Petersburg, FL in 2006. Still there in 2015. Probably scrapped.

Learjet 24D-261 started as D-IDAT on the German register, and after a higher MTOW allowance in 1978 it adopted this cool registration. The bizjet was sold to Canada as C-GBWA a year later and was broken up at Detroit-Willow Run airport in the 90ies.

D-ICHS came to Germany as a new aircraft in 1973 and was initially operated by Bomin with a red and yellow colour scheme. Transferred to Minitrans / MTM, Munich, it adopted their blue colours for about a year, before being sold as N79RS in the end of 1977. - The Learjet flew as ZS-NGG in the final years of its life and was broken up at Nelspruit in 2005.

slide scan from the NK collection. - HB-VBU was on the Swiss register between 1970 and 1971, therafter it was sold to Italy as I-CART, retaining its nice golden colour scheme. - Shortly after being acquired in the USA as N37DH, the Learjet suffered a take off accident and was damged by fire during a training mission from Las Vegas in October 1978. It was later registered as N93BR, but I assume it was only bought for parts and was not active again.

slide by Ralf Kokoschka. - D-IGSO came onto the German register as new aircraft in 1971 and flew initially for Giesecke & Devrient from its home base Munich; after 1974 it was transferred to Minitrans München / MTM, as well based at Munich-Riem. The Lear was sold as N78AF in 1978, and finished its active life as N19LJ; last noted in storage at Newton Cty airport KS in 2019.

First flight 1966, this Learjet was a true oldy! It is former an ASSESS airborne telescope aircraft. and served this laboratory from 1973 onwards. The 24A was then delivered NASA Ames (N702NA) where it was registered on 10 Jun'74. It was moved to Dryden on 9 Feb'98 as N805NA. The jet was sadly lost in an accident on 7 Jun'01 during a hard landing at Victorville (CA). The 24A was under control of the co-pilot who disengaged the yaw damper and entered a pilot induced lateral oscillation. The airplane rapidly decelerated and developed a high sink rate. It bounced several times and came to rest.
