Hall Viking was the first of the the last 4 DC-9-41s delivered new to SAS in a "natural metal" livery which was nice in bright sunlight, and rather dull in grey weather. Due to corrosion, these four DC-9s were among the first aircraft to be repainted to the new white livery adopted in 1983. Wfu in 2001 after 23 years for SAS. Later a few years as N66XS before broken up.

Later became YV-41C and N603DCuntil wfu in 2001, stored at Mojave and broken up there in April 2008. Seen parked after at night stop at gate 10, as one of the two latest ordered DC-9s in the SR fleet, it still kept the original colours in 1982
