6/45: TOS USAAF as B-25J 44-31508. ca.1954: Converted to TB-25K radar trainer. 1/60: Sold; registered N6578D. 11/67: Modified as a movie camera platform. 12/67: Used as a camera ship filming the movie, "Battle of Britain" operating out of England and Spain. 1/69: Returned to the USA. Later WFU; open storage at Caldwell-Wright Field, NJ; became derelict. 4/77: Tom Reilly, Kissimmee, FL. By 1981: Restored as "Chapter XI." By 1998: Based at Franklin, VA; WFU; degraded to derelict with one engine missing. 2/14: Peter Smith, Reevers Warbirds, Adelai, Australia. By 2017 it was restored as a B-25J.

Operated by the Alamo Wing of the Confederate Air Force. Strangely it carried a USAF type fuselage star and an RAF fin flash. It was re-registered N25YR in September 1991.

Constructed as a B-25J-35-NC by North American at Kansas City in August 1945 and allocated 45-8883 but not taken up by USAAF. Sold as N(L)75755 in 1946 and kept N number until acquired by the CWH in 1976 and painted as HD372 of 98 Sqdn.

Miss Temperance set a new trans-Tasman Sea record flying from Sydney airport to Whenuapai airport, Auckland, in four hours 33 minutes aided by a 60kt tailwind. To put it in perspective the scheduled flight time in 2022 is three hours. The Joint Airways Communication System Pacific (JACSPAC) was a US Army-Navy unit set up during World War II to provide flight services to both. The FAB flew approaching 100 Mitchells at various stages between 1942 and 1974, this one joining in 1946 and part of a batch of 64 aircraft purchased from the US in 1946 and 1947. Brazil declared war against the Axis powers in August of 1942 and FAB B-25s participated in the war, attacking U-boats in the southern Atlantic. They served from late 1944 with the 4 Grupo de Bombardeio Medio at Foraleza, while the 6 Regimento de Aviacao's 2 Group at Salvador operated a mix of B-25s, PV-1s and A-28s.

Owned by several civilian operators over the years. 9/52: Cannon nose was replaced by a standard B-25J 8-gun nose. 10/55: Husky Oil Co., Cody, WY, and several executive modifications were made, including the installation of an air stair and pointed tail cone. 1970: Flew in the movie, "Catch-22." 5/72: Donated to the EAA Aviation Foundation. Oshkosh, WI. From 1975 to 1985: Complete restoration and a standard B-25J glass nose was installed. By 7/21: Restored as when in "Catch-22."
