The Commemorative Air Force added B-25 44-29869 to their collection back in 1978 when the museum was known as the Confederate Air Force. Restored in 1991, it flew again registered N27493 on April 18, 1992 (the 50th anniversary of the World War II Doolittle Raid on Tokyo). It wears markings from Mediterranean based B-25 43-27493 "Miss Mitchell".

For a number of years two B-25s were on display in a park near the International airport of Mexico City. At the time this picture was taken their condition was poor to say the least... As can be seen in this picture the fuselage of N9623C was broken in two while the complete tail section of the other B-25, N9877C, had been removed. Both Mitchells were eventually removed from the park and transported to Santa Lucia Air Base where they were used in a rebuild project of a B-25 for the local museum there.

Restored to static display condition circa 2012 by the 4th Maintenance Echelon at Santa Lucia AB. It is now a composite airframe, using the fuselage, tail section and other parts of N9623C c/n 108-33967 and various parts of N9877C c/n 108-32420, both of which were previously displayed in the Bosque de San Juan de Aragón park in Mexico City. This aircraft is now falsely painted to resemble B-25J BMM-3503. The real BMM-3503 was c/n 108-47472.

3 Jul 45: TOS USAAF as B-25J and placed in storage. 6/51: Converted to TB-25K radar trainer. 12/51: James Connally AFB, TX. 10/57: Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. 1/15/58: Registered as N5262V. 4/83: Wiley Sanders, Troy AL, where it became part of his private collection. The plane flies now as "Georgie Mae."

6/45: TOS USAAF as B-25J 44-31508. ca.1954: Converted to TB-25K radar trainer. 1/60: Sold; registered N6578D. 11/67: Modified as a movie camera platform. 12/67: Used as a camera ship filming the movie, "Battle of Britain" operating out of England and Spain. 1/69: Returned to the USA. Later WFU; open storage at Caldwell-Wright Field, NJ; became derelict. 4/77: Tom Reilly, Kissimmee, FL. By 1981: Restored as "Chapter XI." By 1998: Based at Franklin, VA; WFU; degraded to derelict with one engine missing. 2/14: Peter Smith, Reevers Warbirds, Adelai, Australia. By 2017 it was restored as a B-25J.

Delivered 3 July 1945 to USAAF as B-25J 44-86785. Later converted to a TB-25K radar intercept crew training a/c. Retired in December 1957 and sold surplus on 15 January 1958. When this slide was taken the owner was Mid-Pacific International, Inc. of Eugene, OR. Currently owned by Wily Sanders Truck Line of Troy, AL. and is airworthy, still registered as N5262V. Note in the slide the USAF "Buzz Number" BD-785 is still visible.
