Re-using a registration previously allocated to a DC-8, this A310 was acquired by Pan Am in February 1986, having first been delivered to Kuwait Airways as 9K-AHJ in September 1984. When Pan Am closed down in late 1991 the aircraft was absorbed into the Delta fleet. Converted to freighter at Hamburg-XFW in 1995 for FedEx as N421FE, stored at Victorville from February 2012 and scrapped in 2023

Another re-use of a DC-8 registration, delivered new to Pan Am in August 1987. Acquired by Tarom from Delta in April 1994 as YR-LCC but on 31st March 1995 was written off 3nm north Bucharest-Otopeni on departure for Brussels. The aircraft nose-dived into the ground after thrust asymmetry problems and possible incapacitation of the captain. The fact that the pilot flying had spent most of his time on Soviet types was a possible factor too, the artificial horizon acting in the opposite manner on western aircraft.

If Laker had survived, this aircraft would have been allocated G-BIMJ, but instead went to Pan Am in March 1985. Became F-OHPD with Philippine Airlines ten year later and was broken up at Châteauroux in 2005

To Pan Am in July 1985 having been ntu by Air Jamaica. Wfu December 1991 when Pan Am failed and to SX-BAY for Apollo Airlines in March 1995. Later F-OHPN (GrandAir), OO-DLG (EAT/DHL) and lastly EI-OZG with Air Contractors. Broken up November 2012 at Leipzig.

New with Pan Am in December 1984 and to Carnival Airlines ten years later. From 2001 became EC-HVZ then XA-FPP, N836JM and most recently EX-30006, beginning operation with Moalem Aviation in April 2023 leased from Prime.

This 747 Classic was delivered to Pan Am on June 18, 1971 christened "Clipper Live Yankee". Pictured as "Clipper Empress of the Seas", the aircraft was later painted in Pan Am's final billboard colors circa 1988 and named changed yet again to "Clipper New Horizons". It was sold to Evergreen International Airlines in May 1991, apparently for parts and later scrapped.

To Magnicharters as XA-SYX in 1997 then back to Aero Continente as P4-OYX in 1998. To Magnicharters as XA-SYX then back to Aero Continente as OB-1733 in 1999. Reregistered as CC-CJO in 2000. Back to OB-1733 and stored at Lima in 2001. Still there in 2008. Scrapped.

Delivered to United Airlines as N9047U in 1969. To Air Florida as N63AF in 1981 then to Pan Am in 1982. To Air Asiatic as VT-ERN in 1990. Returned to the lessor as N63AF in 1991. To Air Atlanta Icelandic as TF-ABH then to Lao Aviation as RDPL-34126 in 1992. Returned to the lessor as N63AF in 1994. To Transmile as 9M-PMR then to Air Philippines as RP-C1938 in 1995. Withdrawn from use at Manila in 2000. Scrapped in 2001.

First flight March 22nd 1968 at Renton, delivered new to National Airlines as N4745 April 3rd 1968 and named "Janice". January 1980 N4745 merged into Pan AM, and was named "Clipper Invincible". Was not repainted ot the new Billboard livery before 1987. WFU December 1991 at Oklahoma after 23 years of flying. October 2nd 1992 N4745 General Electric Credit Corporation, August 13th 1993 cancelled, and later broken up. This photo of N4745, was the last time I met a Pan Am B727 at FBU, as PA switched to nonstop JFK-FBU flights with new A310s in April 1991.
