The second 146 built as G-SSHH in May 1981 was painted in TABA c/s for the 1983 Paris show and then reregistered G-OPSA in Jan 1984, anticipating Pacific Southwest's order. It was leased to the Californian carrier as N5828B in Oct that year but returned to BAe as G-SSHH less than six months later, becoming N801RW with Royal West in Jun 1986 and G-BPNP with Dan-Air (keeping basic RW colours) in Jun 1987. Leased to American Airlines as N720BA from Dec 1987, back to BAe in Mar 1988 to become military transport demo G-BSTA. Next ZS-NCA; b/u as VH-NJV 2019 at Adelaide

Back when Farnborough could still be relied upon to put on an exciting airshow, manufacturer combos like this were an occasional feature. At this time BAe were still able to offer five main types in the civil market and here we have 146 G-BMYE leading 125-800A G-UWWB (from slogan "Up Where We Belong"), Jetstream 31 G-BLKP and 146-200A G-OHAP in Presidential Airways colours. At this time BAe were still able to offer five main types in the civil market and here we have 146 G-BMYE leading 125-800A G-UWWB (from slogan "Up Where We Belong"), Jetstream 31 G-BLKP and 146-200A G-OHAP in Presidential Airways colours. British Aerospace demonstrator. Registered as G-WISC in 1982 then G-WAUS in 1984 and painted in Air W.A colours. It was never delivered to them and remained with British Aerospace. Reregistered as G-BMYE in 1986. Scrapped at Filton in 1995.
