Displaying to advantage the large fuel container temporarily fitted in the cockpit beside the ferry pilot - note also the conveniently placed fire extinguisher - Grob G120TP D-EZZL is about to touch down on Runway 12 at Prestwick. Arriving factory-fresh from the Grob plant at Mindelheim-Mattsies Airfield, Bavaria for a fuel stop. En route to join the RCAF's 15 Wing at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan where it will become Grob CT-102B Astra II 102205.

On delivery to the RCAF where Grob G120TP D-EZZL will become Grob CT-102B Astra II 102205 of 15 Wing at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, the fifth of an order of 23 to form the Basic Training Element of Canada's Future Aircrew Training Programme. Now heading for Reykjavik, Iceland as the next stop on its ferry flight. Arrived earlier direct from the Grob factory at Mindelheim-Mattsies Airfield, Bavaria.

Second prototype. First flew as G-SSHH in 1982. Used by a number of operators. Reregistered as G-OPSA then N5828B in 1984, G-SSHH in 1985, N801RW in 1986 and G-BPNP in 1987. Converted to a Bae146-100STA and reregistered as G-BSTA in 1988 and OE-BRL in 1990. Converted to a Bae.146-100QC and reregistered as G-BSTA then ZS-NCA in 1991, G-BSTA in 1995 and VH-NJV in 1995. Scrapped at Adelaide in 2019.

This is former USN 50745, seen here with 205 sqn based at Kanoya. In 1975 it went to the Philippines as RP-C14. It crashed as such on 15 November 1989.
