This aircraft had been delivered to the BHAM at Southend the previous month.

Arrived at Southend in 1966 via Biggin Hill after storage at Lossiemouth and Dunsfold. Part of the British Historic Aircraft Museum until it closed and sold at auction on 10th May 1983. Subsequently registered as G-SALY before being sold to the U.S. via Warbirds of Great Britain in 1990 and restored to fly as N15S in June 1991. Registered 31 October 1968. Pictured while on loan to Southend-based Rochford Hundred Flying Group, whose Auster Autocar G-AMFP had crashed on 10 August 1972. G-AWSR was delivered to Southend from Redhill on 9 December 1972 and returned there 24 April 1973. It was subsequently destroyed while flying from Holbeach to Plymouth on 18 July 1973, when it suffered fuel starvation and, with the engine stopped, the pilot attempted a forced landing on Scoriton Hill, near Buckfastleigh, Devon. The aircraft stalled from about 40ft and broke up on impact, both occupants suffering only minor injuries.

Taken on charge Feb.1944 as NP180. Registered to East Anglian Flying Services as G-ANGN 23 Nov.1953. It was never converted and the fuselage languished at Southend until scrapped in 1960. It had meanwhile been cancelled 17 March 1959 as 'Withdrawn from Use and Dismantled'.

1st prototype of the MS.732 variant. First flight as F-WFDQ 13 February 1951. Reregistered F-BFDQ October 1959 and sold in Belgium later that year. Registered OO-TYB 22 April 1960. Rebuilt at Genk in 1967, incorporating the wings and undercarriage of 2nd prototype MS.732 F-BFLY. Cancelled 26 April 1968 as WFU. Reportedly used as an advertising display at various locations in Belgium and eventually broken up for scrap.

Originally registered G-AFNF 8 July 1939. Impressed for military service 10 September 1940 as BK838 and restored as G-AFNF 21 March 1946. It was broken down for spares at Eastleigh and cancelled 30 March 1948 as 'Reduced to Produce', only for it to be restored to the register 12 August 1949. Again cancelled 18 October 1951 as 'Sold Abroad' and then registered in France as F-BFYR. Reregistered F-PFYR 30 December 1958 and fitted with a canopy January 1959. Destroyed at Calais-Dunkerque airport in the early 1970s in unknown circumstances. Cancelled 30 November 1971 as 'Destroyed'.

Built as a Marathon Mk.1, registered 29 December 1950. One of seven of the type earmarked for BEA's island routes, for which it was allotted the class name 'MacLeod' but the order was cancelled due to the high operating costs. To WAAC as VR-NAO 26 September 1952, when it was upgraded to a Mk.1A. Restored to Balfour Marine Engineering as G-AMGX 28 April 1955. It was fitted out with juke boxes for a proposed sales tour of the USA in August 1955, which was aborted and the aircraft languished at Southend until scrapped in 1962. Cancelled 28 November 1962 as PWFU.

First flight at Luton 24 April 1949. Taken on charge by RAF as VS613 April 1949. Struck off charge and sold to Aviation Traders, registered G-AOPO 30 May 1956. Converted for civil use at Southend 1957/58 and made first flight after conversion 19 March 1958. Cancelled 11 September 1958 as sold in Belgium and registered to Publiciel as OO-OPO 19 September 1958. C.of A. expired 25 October 1962 and cancelled 22 March 1977. Stored at the Musée Royal de l'Armée, Brussels.

Ex W1731. Originally built as an Anson XI. Registered G-ALXH 16 January 1950. Rebuilt in 1955 to Anson 19/2 standard, being re-engined and using the fuselage of PH808. Shortly after taking off from Leeds-Bradford en route to Belfast on 9 April 1963, smoke filled the cockpit and it was thought the starboard engine had failed, whereupon that engine was shut down and a forced landing attempted in a field near Guiseley, Yorkshire, in which substantial damage was incurred. The three occupants were uninjured. Cancelled 14 May 1963 as destroyed.

First flight 9 October 1947 as VL233. To King's Flight 25 January 1947. Registered G-APOO on 6 August 1958 to Tradair, named 'Mercia' in 1960. Registered to Channel Airways 10 January 1963. Last flight was on 18 August 1964, following which it was Withdrawn from Use at Southend and scrapped there in 1965. Registration cancelled 7 March 1969 as Permanently Withdrawn From Use.

Delivered to the USAF as 52-7133. To the Belgian Air Force in 1954. Withdrawn from use in 1972. To the Historic Aircraft Museum at Southend in 1973 then to Medway Royal Aviation Society, Rochester in 1980 for restoration and repainted in USAF Thunderbirds colours as 6771. To the RAF Museum, Cosford in 1990 then to the Bentwaters Cold War Museum in 2019.

Delivered to USAAF as 42-100884 in 1943, to RAF as TS423 in 1944. Depicted while in use by Ferranti with the nose fitted to test the air-pass radar for the EE Lightning. Registered as G-DAKS 14th Sept.1979, to Aces High 8th May 1980. Cancelled 5th March 1998 upon transfer to US registry as N147DC and still current as such February 2023.

Prototype of the Accountant airliner, an ambitious Dakota-replacement project by Southend-based Aviation Traders (Engineering). A note on this photograph states 'Under final stages of construction', which places it on an unknown date in 1957, given that it made its first flight on 9th July 1957, as G-41-1. Registered as G-ATEL 30th August 1957 and displayed at the Farnborough Air Show the following month. Sadly it attracted little interest and the project was abandoned, the aircraft making its last flight on 10th January 1958. Cancelled 8th Oct.1959 as PWFU and broken up at Southend Feb.1960.

Registered in March 1973. Owned by Gill Aviation until November 1976 and operated In the John Player Special racing team colours. Overran the runway at Denham on 24th October 2013.

Crashed while spraying at Parsonage Farm, Norfolk on 2nd July 1976.

Badly damaged in take-off accident at Keyston, Cambs on 15th April 2015. Re-registered 14th August 2015.
