I'm not really into biz-jets at all, but there are exceptions if they sport airline colours. JetStars were always something special and one in Iraqi colours much more so. Went on to become 7T-VHP then much later (briefly) OD-MKI and ended up derelict at Geneva as HB-JGK

During the period of the Iran-Iraq war, we were fortunate at LHR that Saddam's mighty Il-76s were frequent visitors. After being evacuated to Iran during the first Gulf War in 1991, this one was put into service by the Iranian AF in a two-tone grey camo scheme but grounded at Shiraz in the early 2000s

The fourth F-27 built, delivered to Aer Lingus on 19.11.58 as EI-AKB, also served Philippine A/l, Alia, Spantax, Aviaco and WDL before becoming the first large aircraft with Manx in 9.82. Went on to Loganair in 9.83 and back to WDL in 1986. Wfu and used for fire practice at Västerås 4.96. I reckon it looked gorgeous in the Manx colours, like it must have done way back in the old Aer Lingus scheme

Seen here arriving from Accra in a revision of her original colours, this VC-10 was the first of two accepted by Ghana on 27.1.65. Free demonstration flights were given to locals, many of whom had never been on a plane before. The VC-10 had a profound effect on the nation's culture and even had a type of dress named after it. Wfu and ferried from Heathrow to Prestwick in 12.80. After storage, broken up in 1983

The pair of Yugoslav An-12s were regular Heathrow visitors in the mid-Eighties on the weekly JAT freight run, later contracted out to, amongst others, Air Bridge using Electras. Note the Yugoslav AF serial also carried; this aircraft was manufactured in 1971 but tragically crashed into a road bridge on finals to Yerevan on 12.12.88 with 8,388 hrs and 4,727 cycles recorded, ironically in view of the aircraft's registration carrying aid for the victims of the earthquake
