A floatplane Noorduyn Norseman sits on beaching gear for winter lay-up. The two tubes from strut to float are used to attach external freight such as lumber or a canoe. This one was at Vancouver in 1978 when it operated for Sea Air Pacific - doubtless where its registration comes from.
The former 63-7607 was used by Flight Systems for experimental duties in the late 1980s. Its last USAF unit was the 113th TFS, Indiana ANG. In 1991 it moved to AMARC storage and was sold for scrap in 1999.
