Delivered to USAF in October 1954 as C-131A 52-5799. Transferred to USCG Miami in 1977 using 'last four' of serial as identity. Converted to HC-131A by Hayes Industries. Seen stored after replacement by Dassault Falcons.
Built in 1943 as PV-1 for US Navy BuAer 34815 but immediately transferred to Canada as 2253. Sold to USA in 1954 and converted by Howard Aero to Super Ventura in 1957. Registered N910V from July 1965. Fate unknown - possibly used for drug smuggling in early 1980s.
