Registration cancelled on 1 March 1982 on sale to Brunei as VR-UDQ, then became V8-UDQ, N263F, PP-HRS, C-FRMH and (currently in 2021) N903CH.

Ex HG691. Operated from Lands End for pleasure flights. Now flown in RAF marks carrying its original serial.

Wrecked in a storm on September 6, 1984.

Looking like a Piper Apache 235, this is in fact a very early (1960) Piper Aztec. The ugly stumpy nose was extended to more graceful proportions for the 1961 Aztec B and subsequent, but reintroduced for the Apache 235 which first appeared in 1962. Very confusing!

Photographed in an initial factory finish, parked beside Prestwick's Main Terminal with the Scottish Aviation factory in the background, prior to its next day delivery flight to the Swedish Air Force as Sk.61A 61058, the last of a batch of 58 originally ordered from Beagle Aircraft. Withdrawn from use in Dec 2000 and sold to Avia-Rent Kft of Hungary in Aug 2004, becoming HA-TVD. Stored at Kaposvár for a period by 2008. Crashed in Nov 2018

Built for RAF as NL896. To the French AF post war and later F-BGEZ before returning to the UK as G-AYIT.

The first Victor production aircraft flew on 1.2.56 - at this time, the only UK-based aircraft with sufficient performance to intercept it at height were the F-101 Voodoos of the USAF's 81st TFW. This early example was delivered to the RAF on 29.11.57 and is seen here hoping for preservation in its original white colours (but note camo outboard wing panels). It was, however, sold as scrap just seven months later
