First flight at Toulouse was 28.April 1979 as F-WZEN, for participation at the Paris Air Show in SAS colours as the first A300 with Pratt & Witney JT9A-59A engines. 15.January 1980 LN-RCA delivered to SAS as LN-RCA "Snorre Viking" as the 1st of four A300B2-320s. In 1983 LN-RCA was converted to A300B4-120 and leased to Scanair, and early 1984 it was repainted to the new bright white and orange DK livery as seen on this photo. 24.October 1987 sold to Conair as OY-CNA. 1.January 1994 Scanair and Conair merged to Premiair, OY-CNA did not get Premair colours before 1998.Later TC-OYC until wfu 2003

First flight 12.September 1984 as N6018N at Everett. Delivered new as second B767 to Braathens SAFE two weeks later. It is seen this Friday in May 1985 ready to depart rwy 06 on scheduled domestic flight to Stavanger - Sola airport. 2.Spetember 1986 Returned to Boeing as N768BE, Later PP-VNM for Varig, ZK-NBD for Air New Zealand, DQ-FJA for Air Pacific and in the end of 1994 N651 TW for TWA. in 2000 converted to freighter, as N713AX for ABX Air and a N655GT for Atlas Air, (opf DHL in DHL colours).

First flight was 14.June 1966 and ten days later delviered new to British Eagle. In winter 1967 - 1968 it flew 4 months on lease to Swissair due to delayed DC-9 delvieries. 11. April 1970 VP-BCP Bahamas Airways. 18 February 1971 back as G-ATPK for Laker Airways. In 1982 to 1985 it flew for fims Willwbrook and Chemco Equipment Finance. 3.April 1985 it flew for Dan-Air, and this week of May 1985 Dan-Air opened a new schedule 3x a week from NCL to FBU, using One-Eleven 300s. From May 1991 it flew as 5N-OMQ for Okada Air for six years until wfu and stored at Benin in December 1997.

First flight was 13 January 1970 at Long Beach, delivered new to SAS as LN-MOW Roald Viking on 25 Feburary 1970. In ca March 1984 LN-MOW was repainted to the new SAS colours as seen on this photo. 23 December 1987 sold as N772 to United Air Leasing. 15 June 1988 it was re-registered N772CA for Tropical Airways, and 2 April 1990 N772CA flew for Rich International Airways. 1997 wfu at Miami, and January 1998 it was broken up there. First flight at Palmdale was 3.October 1974 and delivered new to British Airways 22.November 1974, named "Bridgewater Bay". In 1981 the new large "British" titles, as shown on this photo. Less than 6 months after this photo, it was repainted to the new BA "Landor" colours. March 1993 VR-HMW for Dragonair. October 1995 C-GTSX for Air Transat. 2.May 2002 wfu and stored at Montreal-Mirabel airport, and four months later broken up there. Due to the Swedish ATC strike, BA changed two daily 757s to 2 Daily TriStars to Fornebu for two weeks

First flight at Renton was 14.February 1974, and delivered new to Lufthansa 25.February 1974 as D-ABSI and named "Hof". 6.June 1990 sold to Pan Am as N359PA March 1994 it was wfu at Perpignan, France without engines... Seen taxing and soon to enter western end of runway 06, these weeks in May 1985, there was a strike in Swedish ATC, whcih gave us buses with pax from Stockholm and from Gothenborg, and this made many airlines send larger aircraft than the normal ones to FBU

First flight was 2 August 1968 at Long Beach, delivered new to SAS as SE-DBT Agne Viking as the DC-9-41 no 10 in the fleet on 28 August 1968. In April 1985 SE-DBT was repainted to the new SAS colours as one of the last DC-9s to be repainted. 17 December 1991 it was sold to Northwest Airlines as N760NW. In May 2004 it was repainted to the final Northwest colours. In 2006 it spent 10 months stored at Marana until iot was transferred to the fleet of Delta Air lines until wfu at Sanford 3 Januray 2011. First flight 8.June 1976 at Renton, delivered new to TEA who flew it until 1988, though many leases to others, wfu in 2006, and probably broken up by now. TEA was a rare visitor at FBU, I was allowed to go take this photo through an open door in the Fire Station. Please note the two SAS DC-9s in left corner, there is one not repainted yet.

SAS painted LN-RLR and SE-DFS in a special colour scheme for the 1994 Lillehammer Olympics using the same graphical design as the Lillehammer Olympics with petroglyph-like figures representing the various winter sports.

First flight 1984 as D-IBLF, re-registered D-CDWN. 28.February 1984 delivered to Norving as the fourth ans final Do-228-100 LN-NVB, and was flying SKE-FBU from the start. Cancelled 24.March 1991 and parked in Denmark. 12.April 1991 LN-NVB again for Norving, Kirkenes ,but canceelled again after less than two months. 28.August 1991 SE-KTN Northg Cross Airways, and it reverted to FBU on shcedule from Ângelholm. Returned to Dornier as D-CBDW. 5.November 1993 9N-ACV opf Everest Air. April 1999 9N-ACV Gorkha Airlines transferred. Lefthand side is Cessna 404 Titan LN-KAB

Norving had a small base at Geiteryggen airport, near the city Skien. Norving opened the SKE-FBU schedule in 1975, using Britten Noman Ilanders, Cessna 404 Titans and C441 Conquests, until they bought Dornier Do228s Here, in June 1994, we see two Norving planes, LN-NVB Do-228-100 and LN-KAB Cessna C-404 Titans. Norving expanded sadly too much in the 1980s, so in autumn 1988 the fleet was grounded. I left corner, only a wreckage left of the former operator of SKE-FBU, Fjellfly DH114 Heron LN-BFX which I saw in 1970 and 71 at FBU

First flight 1953. ex PK-GHE and JA6156. Registred LN-BFX 19.December 1969 and operted for Fjellfly. as I recall it Fjellfly opened flighst between Skien and Oslo-Fornebu in the 1960s using Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneers LN-BFK and-BFO, before changing to DH114 Heron in 1970. This aircrft was grounded in 1973 and stored at Geiteryggen, as seen on this photo 11 years later. Broken up at Fornebu 1988, and spares use for restoring sistership LN-BFY at Sola Air Museum, which is preserved as "LN-PSG" which was one of the three first DH Herons in Braathens SAFE.
