The great Newark Air Museum hosts some nice exhibits, but it is quite cramped. So getting pictures inside is quite challenging.

I don't normally take pictures of aircraft stored indoors but, having borrowed my buddy Fred Seggie's 10-22 mm lens, there were many aircraft at this super museum to experiment with. In the end I was convinced that such a small lens is indeed a very useful addition.

The highlight for me but just one of many interesting planes to be viewed at the wonderful Newark Air Museum. Wandering around all these majestic old aeroplanes was the perfect antidote to/escape from wall-to-wall Royal Wedding hysteria.

This aircraft is named Maisie and carries a false registration in memory of the restorers Wife. The owner, Harry Hodgson died shortly after the aircraft was loaned to the Newark Air Musuem and it remains there on loan from his family. It is reported to be ex DE561 though that aircraft was believed to have been lost at sea
