Still basically in the markings of its last active unit, the Navy Recruiting Command. After leaving there, it was loaned to the Jacksonville Navy Flying Club w/FAA registration N20685. On 26 August 2000 it was involved in a landing mishap at NAS Jacksonville which damaged the right wing. It was then transferred to the museum in 2004 where it was modified for use in the Kiddyland area in the main building. Normally the canopies are open for access to the cockpits, but are currently closed due to Covid restrictions (2021). Originally built as T-34B BuNo. 143996.

The S-3B was temporarily located just outside Hangar Bay One to make room for a USCG ceremony being held inside. The numeral "1" after "Navy" on the fuselage is in recognition of this S-3 being the only USN a/c to have carried a sitting President of the U.S., that being George W. Bush. The a/c was transferred to the museum in 2003.

The museum recently completed the restoration of 163508. This F/A-18C, with LCDR Mark Fox piloting, shot down an Iraqi F-7A (Chinese MiG-21 variant) on 17 January 1991 on the first day of Operation Desert Storm. A Sidewinder missile was used for the kill. After the engagement (another F-7A was downed by LCDR Fox' wingman) the flight of four Hornets continued on their strike mission. The target was the Al Walid airfield, where each a/c expended four Mk.84 2000 pound bombs on the target.

The USMC tested 5 YRON-1 a/c. It was not accepted by the Marines as it was too heavy and difficult to fly. In 1977 4013 was on outside display at the museum. It is currently in storage, although occasionally it is put on display for special events.

This H-2 was originally built as a UH-2B, later converted to a UH-2C, and finally converted to a SH-2F. 151312 was then assigned to HSL-31, where it served from 1973 until retirement in 1992. Not long after I took this photo 151312 was transported to the Kaman Corporation for complete restoration, which was finished in 2018. It is now on display inside the Hangar Bay One building.

This was the last HU-16 on active duty with the USN. It was on display at the museum from 1977 - 1980. The USN then recalled it, registered it with the FAA as N693S, and loaned it to the Smithsonian Institute for scientific duties. Eventually disposed of by the US Navy, it was last reported displayed in a lake at Universal Studios, Orlando, FL.
