From 1974 operated with VMA-513 (MCAS Yuma), transferring to VMA-231 (MCAS Cherry Point) in 1982 on conversion from AV-8A to AV-8C. It later went back to VMA-513 and spent time aboard LPH7 Guadalcanal before placement in the care of AMARC in 1988. By 1994 it had been acquired by the Pensacola museum. Another AV-8C is in the possession of NNAM is loaned to the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field

Although marked as a USMC Skynight, this a/c spent its military career with the USN. It was assigned to VC-4, VF-11, VF-14, and VF-101. Acquired by the museum in bad condition in 1988, once again the Combat Air Museum has produced a fine restoration.

Assigned at this time to CIFAS 00-328 but still wearing on the fuselage the SALE 4° EC badge and GE 00- 314 "Ecole the chasse Christian Martel" on tail . Was sold to Turkish Air Force in 1982 and WFU in 1996. Reported preserved in Akhisar /Turkey.
