The frame of G-AEZF in open storage with the HAM, along with Sea Fury WJ244. The remains of G-AEZF moved to East Tilbury and Redhill before arriving at Rochester Airport in June 2013 for rebuild by the Medway Aircraft Preservation Society. WJ244 subsequently returned to the air as G-FURY.

G-ACUX was brought to Australia for Papuan Concessions which was exploring for gold in New Guinea. The aircraft proved under powered on floats. It was put on a wheeled undercarriage but remained unsuitable. In October 1935 it became VH-UUP. Not long after it was flown to Sydney for sale. It remained in Sydney until 1974 when it was sold to the Strathallan Collection and shipped to the UK. Photo appears to be at or near the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron at Kirribilli. First flown on 13 February 1935, G-ACUZ was the first Scion II and the first Scion built at Short's new Rochester plant. Impressed as W7419 in 1940.

Opening of Sde Nov airport. Aviation initiatives in British Mandatory Palestine came from the side of Jewish immigrants. In 1937, Palestine Airways began to fly between the port of Haifa and Lydda, now Tel Aviv - Ben Gurion, but road travel between Tel Aviv and Lydda was unsafe and thus a landing ground close to the city was sought. VH-UVQ on the Cooks River mudflats next to the airport. A few days later it was flown to Brisbane where it operated for a short while from the Brisbane River. By the end of 1939 it was stored, vandalised and caught up in the liquidation of Aerial Transport and Training. -UVQ never flew again and was cancelled from the register in 1946. Overturned in a forced landing near Meadows, South Australia. Wreck bought by Pobjoy, which had taken over production from Short Brothers, and shipped back to the UK. Repaired and became G-AEOY with Arabian Airways on November 1, 1937. Six weeks later it crashed again. This time it stayed down.

VH-UTV was delivered to Adelaide Airways, an associated company of ANA, in 1936. The registered owner became ANA at the end of that year and the Scion was given the fleet name Moata.

Pobjoy-built in 1937, this Scion light airliner served as a floatplane prewar in Sierra Leone. Operational in the UK until the early 1950s, the aircraft became derelict and only its frame survived in storage. Remains were removed to Rochester Airport in 2013 and it is being rebuilt the Medway Aircraft Preservation Society.

Built as a seaplane in October 1934 as G-ACUX. To Papua New Guinea in March 1938 as VH-UUP. Withdrawn frrom use as a landplane in late 1947 and preserved in the crowded roof space of Marshall's hangar at Bankstown. Currently (2015) inaccessible to the public in deep storage in a Belfast Museum.
