Built for Slick Airways in 1956 and flew with Eagle from 1958 to 1964 when it was exported back to the USA. Registered to Falcon Leasing in 1978 as N613SE and cancelled as expired on 26 April 2013 having long since been scrapped.

Probably the most photographed DC-6 in history and this is the 33rd upload on this site alone. Originally built for Maritime Central Airways as CF-MCK (re-used on a Dart Herald). Here it has recently been imported and the MCA livery over-painted and modified with eagles etc added. Supposedly this was carried out at Blackbush in the open air. After a long and well documented history, it was preserved at the South Wales Aviation Museum, St Athan (EGSY) in 2021.

Built in 1947 for British European Airways and acquired by Eagle in 1955. On 9 August 1961 it flew into a rock face while attempting an ILS approach to Stavanger (ENZV) killing all on board including 33 school-boys from Croydon ages 13 to 16. As with the Man. United Munich crash a few years earlier this horrific accident caught the public's attention and I remember how upset my mother was, being as I was 14 at that time myself.

Here on lease from Cubana (April 1960 to September 1961) ex CU-T668. Afterwards leased to CSA as OK-MBA and seen as such at Heathrow on 4 August 1962. Scrapped as CU-T668 at Havana in 1983.

Eagle's C-47B Dakota bearing the fleet name "Sir Richard Kempenfelt" and the airline's shield. The previous owner's name "Cynthia" (of Starways) is still visible to the right of the shield. Ex RAF KN566. Later displayed at RAF Lyneham as "FZ625".

Delivered new to Slick Airways as N6814C in March 1956. Served Eagle from September 1958 until June 1964.

Eagle Airways Viking 3B arrives on a scheduled service from Bergen. Ex BEA, this aircraft was operated from February 1955, adopting the new "Cunard Eagle" titles in 1960. It was sold to Airnautic for spares in June 1962.
