Rebuilt in 2002 and returned to its base at Palmer where I photographed it again with new registration N904AK and new yellow colours with a blue trim.

Originally delivered to the USAAF as a C-45F, serial 44-86963. Then transferred to the USN as a JRB-4, serial 44588. It was rebuilt in the early 1950s and became an SNB-5, before finally being redesignated as a UC-45J in 1962.
