Delivered to AirCal as N304AC in 1986. Still in their colours after they were taken over by American Airlines in 1987. Reregistered as N678AA in 1988. To Southwest Airlines in 1991. Withdrawn from use at Goodyear, AZ in 2009 and scrapped.

Registered as G-AWEB then N556MA in 1968. Destroyed in a crash after takeoff from Thurrock, UK in 2005.

I'm not sure if this executive Convair was still flyable at this stage; it wasn't cancelled from the US Register until August 2012.

in 11/71 this 707 went to Varig as PP-VLJ and was w/o 6/9/73 at Rio de Janeiro Brazil when it overran runway on landing.

Not a TV-2 Seastar, but a TV-1 Shooting Star. In 1948 the US Navy received a batch of F-80Cs to speed up conversion to jet fighters. They were allocated naval serials of a cancelled batch of Martin Maulers. This one is from the Naval Air Reserve unit at NAS St. Louis (Lambert), but it seems that it stayed at NAS Oakland (OAK) after its arrival here. The Benioff Children's Hospital is a hospital system in Oakland affiliated to the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). This 2013 Airbus EC135P2+ N838CS is now operated by Reach Air Medical Services and serves Benioff Children's Hospitals rooftop helipads in Oakland and San Francisco. Prior to the opening of the new UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay (and a roof top helipad) in 2015, air ambulances flying to San Francisco hospitals had to land at SFO and transfer patients to a ground ambulance. REACH Air Medical Services bought CALSTAR's 14 helicopter EMS program in Oct. 2014. Ex-N135KJ and D-HECN.

The City of Oakland Police Department Helicopter Unit operates two MD Helicopters 500Es, N510PD (pictured) and N220PD built in 1990 and 1993 respectively. The Oakland Police have operated helicopters for more than 50 years and previously flew Hughes 269s. On October 2 1973, an Oakland Police Hughes 269C crashed on Fruitvale Avenue as a result of a mechanical failure and claiming the lives of two officers.

Lockheed 10 being lifted over the fence at Oakland Airport so it could be brought to the Western Aerospace Museum (now the Oakland Aviation Museum) where it is now on exhibit.

The only XC-12 ever built. Built by the Capelis Safety Airplane Company, it was registered as NX12762 on 12 Jan 1933, and first flew in the same year. It failed to attract commercial interest, and following a minor accident on 15 Apr 1938 the aircraft was permanently grounded, its registration cancelled in Aug 1938. It was acquired by RKO Studios and its unusual cockpit design was modified to look more like a DC-3. The aircraft was then used as a prop in many movies, most notably in Five Came Back (1939) and The Flying Tigers (1942). It was eventually scrapped circa 1950.
