A4-23 had been one of the Ansons delivered to the RAAF prior to World War II. The fuselage was acquired from Mr Davey in 1987 for a proposed aviation museum in Adelaide. The museum idea was abandoned and the fate of the fuselage of A4-23 is unknown.
