K25 slide scan. Delivered 1969 as N2803W to Western Airlines. Torosair TC-AJV 1988. Early non advanced model, written off in a spectacular accident at Ankara 25 August 1989. Struck localizer antenna 900ft beyond runway end on overweight take off, managed to return safely but never flew again. As a result of findings and safety reviews the airline was forced to cease operations three months later. Standard lettering on polished bare metal.
