Originally delivered to Frontier Airlines in Mar 1968. To Braniff Mar 1972 where 1975 it got Alexander Calder's Bi-Centennial Year color scheme. After various operators from 1985 to March 1990, it seen here not only lost it's colors but also engines. However, it had still one role left before final broken up. Columbia Pictures bought for movie "Bad Boys". Where it can be seen blown up around about 1h46min from start of the movie.

Earlier in its career this aircraft flew for Braniff as N408BN in special Calder colours.

Acquired Mar 72 ex N7278F Frontier Airlines. To Toros Airways as TC-AJY circa Aug 78 until Jun 90 and then stored Opa Locka FL until broken up circa 1993.

Color scheme designed by Alexander Calder. Aircraft served Braniff from March 1972 until February 1985.
