E-430 was delivered to the R Danish AF in 1956 and was sold back to Hawker Siddeley here at Dunsfold in 1974, intended for refurbishment. Failing to find a fresh export customer, it was moved to Thorpe Park and painted to represent a Royal Navy Hunter GA.11 with the serial XF418 (which is actually correct for the port wing fitted; the starboard was from XG226). Going on to the Gatwick museum and later sold privately, it became abandoned, but in late 2024 was moved back to Dunsfold for the planned Wings Museum, which also has Kestrel XS694 in store This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
