Built as an F.51 for the Royal Danish Air Force, E-409 first flew in March 1956 and was delivered to Vaerlose in Denmark to serve with Esk 724 in August of that year. In December 1975, it was bought back by Hawker Siddeley to Dunsfold and in 1982 went to the South Wales Preservation Society. August 1995 saw it moving to the City of Norwich Aviation Museum where it was painted as 'XF683' in 74 Sqdn marks, but now in the process of being re-done...
