The RDAF received its total of 30 Hawker Hunters in 1956, as replacements for the Gloster Meteor, and had all been phased out by 1976. This example was delivered in January 1956 as 47-401 but in 1960 the serial was changed to E-401. It was wfu in March 1974 and arrived at the Danmarks Flymuseum in 2008 for display as 47-401 once again. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
