Cottonmouth painted in Royal Canadian Navy colours with the big Wright 3350 engine.

Built for the Royal Navy as VX302. Converted to a target tug and sold as D-CACE in 1963. To Doug Arnold/Warbirds of Great Britain and registered as G-BCOV in 1974. Based at Blackbushe. Sold as N613RD in 1985 then N51SF in 1987 and D-CACE in 2017.

Delivered to the Royal Navy as VX300 in 1950. To Hawker Aircraft in 1957, converted to a target tug and allocated new c/n ES.8502. Delivered to the German government as D-FAMI in 1958. Reregistered as D-CAMI in 1958. To Doug Arnold/Warbirds of GB as G-BCKH in 1974 and based at Blackbushe. Sold as N46990 then N62147 in 1977 and N924G in 1978. In use as an air racer in the USA in 2023.

Note five bladed prop, this was later changed to four on engine swap out, Sadly lost due to engine failure, crew injured but okay.

Operated by the Royal Navy Historic Flight. Ex N281L, N8476W, G-BCOW, D-CACO, G-9-64 and VX281. Still wearing the registration NX281L, having been registered as G-RNHF on 1 June 2007. Suffered engine failure on 28 April 2021 during only the second test flight after being fitted with a reconditioned Centaurus engine. The forced landing resulted in the aircraft being seriously damaged, with "minor injuries" to the crew. Restored as G-BCOW on 11 November 2021 for rebuild by The Fighter Collection.

RNHF Sea Fury VX281, like WG655 no longer airworthy, sadly suffered the same fate. 2019 not a good year for Sea Fury survivors in the UK

No longer airworthy, engine failure caused pilot to skilfully wheels up land WG655 in a field north west of Duxford. Pilot and passenger fortunately survived, fate of WG655 unknown.

It crashed at RNAS Yeovilton on July 14, 1990 after engine trouble. during the attempted belly landing, it hit a tree and broke in 2 pieces, with lots of additional damage. It was deemed unrepairable and the remains were sent to New Zealand. The wing folding mechanism ended up in ZK-FSR. The aircraft was later restored in the US as N20MD, which was completed in May 2005. Sold to The Fighter Collection in 2009 and became G-CHFP in April 2012. Sold to a new owner in July 2018 as G-INVN. It was seriously damaged, possibly beyond repair, in a crash landing in a wood at Button End in Harston, Cambridgeshire on 4th August 2020

This aircraft is operated for the Royal Navy Historic Flight. It was badly damaged in a landing accident at Culdrose on 31st July 2014. Having returned to the air in 2017, it was again severely damaged at Lymington, near Yeovilton on 28th April 2021
