VH-TSG was a hybrid aircraft, its fuselage built in the UK and shipped to Australia where locally made wings were fitted. Msn DHA8 was applied to the wings and the aircraft delivered to the RAAF as A17-8. It was disposed of in 1946 but it would be 11 years before it was registered as VH-RAW with the spurious msn DHC78, believed to be a corruption of the RAAF serial. It became VH-TSG in 1965. The aircraft crashed into the sea off South Stradbroke Island when its left wings failed during aerobatics. "Lovely!" was a pizza restaurant.
VH-FBO was a UK-built Tiger Moth that came to Australia after World War II. It had been G-AOFY then VH-RSE with the Royal Aero Club of New South Wales. It became VH-FBO in February 1958. It crashed at Goolwa, South Australia, on October 25, 2008.
